United Thai Shipping Co., Ltd., or Unithai Container Terminal received a New Ship-To-Shore Crane from Wuxi HuaDong Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd., (HDHM), a renowned\u00a0 company in industrial machinery for container terminal, specializing in the productions of various types of cranes, and got readied to elevate the standard of services with speed and accuracy in lifting and moving cargo containers, increase efficiencies of container terminal operations, transportation services, logistics systems and warehousing management in fullest efficiency as well as moving forward as a leader in the transportation and logistics industry.<\/p>\n

For the New Ship-To-Shore Crane launching ceremony, we were honored to have Mr. Chirapong Korkitsammakul, Head of Thailand Shipping and Logistics, United Thai Shipping Co., Ltd., Mr. Wasa Junsangsuk, Deputy General Manager of Unithai Container Terminal, Ms. Chanjira Panitpol, Head, Corporate Office Thailand, Ms. Suparat Ekjitra-amorn, Country Finance Head of Unithai Group, and Ms. Faye Liu, Senior Vice President (Port Equipment Business), participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open the event. The use of the New Ship-To-Shore Crane was also demonstrated to the distinguished guests in attendance to see its working efficiency.<\/p>\n

Mr. Wasa Junsangsuk, Deputy General Manager of Unithai Container Terminal, added, this \u201cNew Ship-To-Shore Crane is larger than the previous one, can support cargo ships with a lifting range of 14 rows and increase the efficiency of lifting containers up to 5 layers. In addition, it can lift containers up to the maximum of 40 tons. The new Ship-To-Shore Crane not only can increase the speed and accuracy of lifting and moving containers, but also greatly increase the efficiency of ships\u2019 operations.<\/p>\n
