Today, I\u2019d like to discuss \u201clearning\u201d in an era where we can no longer stand still, because the world is spinning so fast we can barely keep up! Have you ever felt like, after updating an app on your phone, a few days later a new version is available? Our daily lives are inextricably linked to learning, because material progress, technology, and innovation are constantly \u201coverwhelming\u201d us, like a tsunami of information that keeps us swept away by \u201cignorance.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Undeniable Truth: \u201cLearning\u201d is the Lifeblood of this Era.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Learning is no longer confined to the classroom. It\u2019s about learning \u201chow to learn\u201d to adapt to new tools, new techniques, and most importantly\u2026 new \u201cways of thinking.\u201d In this time when we must \u201cbe aware\u201d of this new learning experience, what preparations do we need to make? The most important mindset is \u201caccepting that we don\u2019t know\u201d and being ready to start anew always. A technologically advanced future is far too \u201cgrand\u201d and \u201cexciting\u201d for us to remain confined by old ways of thinking. Therefore, our first lesson is: always be open to learning!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An Ordinary Morning\u2026That\u2019s No Longer Ordinary<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>One morning\u2026you wake up. Your alarm clock doesn\u2019t just wake you up, it \u201canalyzes your sleep.\u201d Your smartphone doesn\u2019t just give you notifications, it \u201cpredicts your mood.\u201d Your health app doesn\u2019t just tell you your steps, it \u201cmeasures your life\u2019s risks.\u201d Today\u2019s world\u2026is not the world we perceive, but a world that is \u201cmeasured\u201d in almost every dimension. We live in an era where \u201ceverything has numbers,\u201d from our hearts\u2026to our thoughts. The question is:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Are we using technology\u2026or is technology using us? Interestingly, behind this accuracy doesn\u2019t come AI or cutting-edge applications, but from a \u201cscience that most people rarely talk about\u201d: \u201cMetrology.\u201d It\u2019s the foundation that makes this world \u201creliable,\u201d makes a pill the same dosage, allows cars to stop at calculated distances, and lets satellites know your location on Earth. But at the same time\u2026it makes this world \u201cfragile\u201d in ways we don\u2019t even notice.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>When Accuracy\u2026Becomes a Double-Edged Sword<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The more accurate measurements become, the more \u201ccontrollable\u201d the world becomes. And when controlled, it can be used for both \u201ccreation\u201d and \u201cdestruction.\u201d Look at current conflicts in the world: measurement technology is used in weapon guidance systems, drones capable of pinpointing targets to the centimeter, and missiles that never miss their target. All of this is not accidental, but stems from \u201chuman-created precision.\u201d On the other hand, technology also saves lives and makes life more convenient: AI assists doctors in diagnosing diseases, drones deliver medicine to remote areas, navigation systems help people travel, and sensors help farmers increase crop yields, and so on.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The \u201cSource\u201d of \u201cAccuracy\u201d&#8230; But the \u201cResult\u201d is \u201cUncertainty\u201d?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I have a personal observation that no matter how \u201caccurate\u201d the foundation is, when humans use it, it is always \u201cuncertain.\u201d This is because measurement technology always involves uncertainty. No human has ever been able to measure exactly to the true value; we only measure close to the truth with the least possible error. This is the result of measurement uncertainty, which means that the technology we use always has room for improvement and development. Humans are good at using these foundations to create new technologies and innovations. It depends on&#8230; we are good at \u201cmeasuring\u201d and \u201ccreating,\u201d but we are not yet \u201cgood\u201d at \u201ccontrolling\u201d and \u201cusing\u201d it creatively. I am not saying that technology is bad, but I am asking the question: \u201cWhen the world can measure everything\u2026 will humans still have room for imperfection?\u201d Because humanity is never about precision, but about \u201cmeaningful error.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Up until now, we have created \u201cAI,\u201d the master of data and the source of thought, which we believe can use this intelligent artificial intelligence to advance human progress in this era. But is that really the case? Progress that comes at the cost of \u201cuncertainty.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I feel that AI is like a \u201cshadow\u201d that we have created\u2026 a shadow that reflects our thoughts, our data, and our own biases. We are cramming vast amounts of data generated from measurement and collection into AI and hoping that it will be \u201csmarter\u201d than us!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>But the fact is, AI \u201cdoesn\u2019t think\u201d on its own. It only \u201ccalculates\u201d and \u201cprocesses\u201d from the data we give it. If the data is dirty, the results will be dirty! The danger is that if we rely too much on AI, we may gradually \u201close our creativity\u201d and \u201cability to make decisions.\u201d We may become \u201cslaves\u201d to algorithms or dimwits without even realizing it!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>My personal opinion: This is an era where we must \u201cchallenge\u201d the belief that AI is the answer to everything. We have seen both their creative power and their destructive capabilities. What I want to emphasize is: \u201cCrisis is change&#8230; and \u2018change\u2019 is always an opportunity!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>No matter how much the world changes, how smart AI becomes, or where wars break out&#8230; we, as humans, always have \u201copportunities\u201d! Opportunities to \u201crelevant learning,\u201d \u201cre-adaptation,\u201d and \u201cre-creation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To foster awareness of learning from new experiences during times like these, we must accept the reality that \u201cstanding still is falling behind.\u201d We must have \u201cflexibility\u201d and \u201ccreativity\u201d that surpasses AI.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I believe that humans do not \u201close\u201d to AI as long as we know how to \u201cask questions\u201d and \u201cthink outside the box.\u201d We may not be able to \u201cmeasure\u201d creativity or empathy for our fellow human beings, but these are our true \u201cpowers\u201d that no tool can replace.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe World After Numbers&#8230; When the Future Knocks on Our Door\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s work together, learn together, and build a \u201cmore beautiful\u201d future with our own hands!
