Ford Opened Its House for Real Work Learning in Quality Automotive Production Lines
Ford Thailand, in collaboration with Ford Thailand Manufacturing Factory or FTM, opened its house to welcome staff from 9 Ford Dealers for a visit to Ford Ranger and Ford Ranger Raptor production lines to experience working in the quality automotive production lines as well as to have close discussions on and the exchanges in knowledge with the Management and Engineering Team at Ford Thailand Manufacturing Factory, Rayong, Ford World-Class Standard Quality Automotive Production Center.

This activity is considered yet another special opportunity that we have opened for our Dealers’ staff from Sales Departments, Service Departments and the Product Experts, to learn about FTM’s world-class automotive production process in which the modern production technology and intensive quality control as well as the inspection processes have been deployed for use”, said Mr. Andre Cavalaro, Operation Director, International Market Group.
During the 3-day activity participations, the Dealers’ staff had experienced the modern production technology by working closely in concert with the employees from the FTM factory in realistic situations beginning from the process of body assembling, paint spraying and automotive parts assemblies including the quality test process of automotive parts received from the manufacturers and the quality tests of the assembled automobiles: such as; color quality inspections, internal and external quality inspections as well as driving by simulating the usage on different road conditions before delivering the automobiles that would provide the best driving experience for customers. On the last day of the activity, the Dealers’ staff had the opportunity to share ideas and exchange knowledge with the Engineers and the Management once again to review their understandings and ensure that they could adopt their knowledge gained from the production process to continuously expand in providing services to the customers.
