Maxim Thailand Optimized Search by Tokens to Make Accurate Addresses
Maxim Thailand, one of leading ride-hailing platforms, launches the use of its Tokenized search technology within its application. This upgrade enhances the address search function, making it smarter, faster, and more resilient to common input errors, thereby improving the experience for both drivers and passengers.
Tokenized Search is a type of search where both the search query being indexed are broken down into minimal, meaningful units called tokens. The search is then performed on these tokens.
Key advantages of the new Tokenized system include enhanced error tolerance, superior speed and efficiency, and scalable flexibility. It effectively handles misspellings, extra words, or abbreviations; delivers results faster with optimized memory usage; and is designed to support the unique linguistic and address formats of multiple countries.
Inner Maxim research shows the average time to search for “From” and “To” addresses decreased by nearly 6–9%. The rate of successful order creation saw a slight increase—a significant metric for a service operating at Maxim’s scale. Users can now reliably find complex or inaccurately spelled destinations that previously failed to return results.
Mr. Pongpath Aksaraworakarn, Managing Director of Maxim Thailand, stated, “This is like giving our app a powerful linguistic lens. Instead of looking for a perfect, full-string match, our system now breaks down the query to understand its essential parts. This allows it to make intelligent connections even when the input isn’t perfect.”
The launch of Tokenized search marks a step forward in Maxim Thailand’s ongoing mission to enhance user experience and deliver smarter, more reliable ride-hailing services to drivers and passengers alike.
