Celebrating 20 years in Thailand with continued investment, advanced grinding technology and responsive customer support.
In late 2025, the ANCA Group marked 20 years of operations in Thailand and announced a new investment of 360 million baht to expand production capability, automation and skills development programs.
Two decades ago, ANCA made the strategic decision to establish a manufacturing base in Thailand. What began in 2005 as a 1,500-square-metre factory with 25 employees has grown into a world-leading regional hub—home to ANCA CNC Machines Thailand and ANCA Manufacturing Solutions (AMS). Today, ANCA Thailand employs more than 440 people and produces machines and parts for export worldwide. ANCA Thailand applies lean and modular manufacturing techniques to improve productivity and support consistent quality at scale. In parallel, AMS has expanded beyond its sheet-metal foundations. Following its rebrand in 2023, AMS now provides a broader range of manufacturing services—from design and production to PCB assembly, wiring, lamination and global logistics—supporting industries including electric vehicles, energy storage, agriculture and aerospace.
Mr Natthagit Phutthabun, Sales Manager South‑East Asia, ANCA Manufacturing (Thailand) Ltd., said ANCA in Thailand is expanding its support for the electronics sector—particularly the 3C market (consumer electronics, computers and communication devices)—where demand continues to grow for micro-cutting tools and consistently high-quality machining of small, intricate parts. ANCA’s latest machine technologies and process innovations help toolmakers meet these requirements and strengthen competitiveness by delivering the accuracy, repeatability and finish that 3C production expects.
Machines built on ANCA’s innovative FX5‑ULTRA platform enable small tools to operate with 0.1 micron precision, supporting the manufacture of tools used to machine components for electronics applications.
The FX5‑ULTRA is distinctive in delivering precision at the nanotechnology level, exceeding conventional linear systems helping customers achieve the stability and quality demanded in high-volume 3C manufacturing.
ANCA’s strengths also centre on flexibility, driven by powerful software and an intuitive control system that offers flexibility and ease of use. This integrated approach helps customers adapt quickly to changing applications and maintain consistent results, particularly compared with competitors that rely on third-party control platforms.
ANCA’s in-house capability is further strengthened by a network of specialist companies across the group. For example, AMS manufactures a range of components. ANCA CNC Machines Thailand assembles and manufactures machines locally, in conjunction with machine manufacture at ANCA’s global headquarters in Victoria, while ANCA Motion (Taiwan) is responsible for the design of software and drive controllers that support machine operation.
A key customer advantage is ANCA’s factory footprint in Thailand. Local manufacturing provides ready access to spare parts and an after‑sales service team that can respond quickly to customers across Thailand and South‑East Asia supporting uptime and productivity.
ANCA’s strongest market in South‑East Asia remains the automotive industry, while the company is also expanding its focus on emerging electronics markets where manufacturers increasingly rely on high-precision production and a strong local supply chain for critical inputs such as micro-cutting tools. In parallel, ANCA is rolling out new insert-grinding solutions, including turnkey packages for helical and shear-type inserts that combine purpose-designed workholding, application software and automation to help customers achieve tight tolerances with consistent, repeatable results.
