Solomon was founded in 1973. Headquartered in Taipei, it has 1 office in the US, 7 in China and another 2 in Southeast Asis and accounted for more than 1,000 employees. It has dedicated heavily in the resources with the research and development of cutting-edge technology which include the Artificial Intelligence (AI), 3D machine vision, IoT and robotics applications. In addition, the goal of the Management Team is to make Solomon a technology leader in these newly emerging fields of Taiwan and the world within the next 3 years.
Michael Lee, Vision Business Unit Director, SOLOMON Technology Corporation, said Solomon would like to present this Taiwan Excellence winning product to Thai manufacturing industry. The company had developed an inspection technology called the META-aivi Wearable AI Solutions, an artificial intelligence 3D-machine vision solutions that reduced labor shortages by using artificial intelligence in order to maintain workforce skills and passed the experiences onto the next generation by using digital technology to help accelerate the training of employees to become proficient in their jobs fast and transform work processes and production data into IoT for the additional analysis and maximizing work. Another solutions was SOLVISION-SLM-AI, a software kit that used neural networks and deep learning to accurately identify, locate, classify, read and measure defects. All these were solutions from Taiwan that would be presented and conveyed to the manufacturing industry in Thailand.

Adam Tseng, Regional Sales Director Asia Pacific Sales Marketing Department, Techman Robot Inc., revealed that the Robot offered to Thai manufacturers at the Manufacturing Expo 2023 was the intelligent robot solution, the Taiwan Excellence Award winning product, having the ability to move with 6 axes controlled by a software system that stored data to ensure accuracy and precision seamlessly, easy in working and managing in the workflow and the production. Being an intelligent robot, it was equipped with camera and sensor to inspect and grip workpieces with precision and accuracy including providing safety to operators which when touching it, it would stop working immediately. Therefore, it could be summarized that the outstanding properties of the robot were in 3 fields, namely: helping to reduce costs, robot being intelligent and providing the safety.

Sara Hsieh, Accounting Manager, Overseas Sales Department, Chin Fong Machine Industrial Co., Ltd., said, Chin Fong had offered the Straight Side Single Crank Precision Press ST1, a traditional pump that combined various properties of the traditional pump to come out perfectly even. The most suitably structural design and the side opening had compatibly met the requirements of automation and helped in increasing the production efficiency, as well. ST1 was a 110-ton model, a straight-side single-crank intelligent servo press which Chin Fong had perfectly integrated with traditionally mechanical press and digital servo control system that could control the processing speed and sliding position, as needed, to solve stamping process problems, such as: various materials that were difficult to process and form, high precision composite material and the shape of products that tended to be complex. With these techniques, we could perfectly solve the bottleneck of the traditional processing and that all these qualifications eventually made Chin Fong the recipient of the Taiwan Excellence Award.
