งาน Prolight + Sound (Singapore Pavilion) Bangkok

Regarding the Prolight + Sound (Singapore Pavilion) event in Bangkok: An interview with Mr. Jackson Yeoh, Secretariat, Pro Audiovisual & Lighting Integration Association, Singapore, revealed that this was the first time they had a pavilion at the event. He said they would wait to see the feedback they received. Importantly, he noted that they had met with many members here, with exhibitors from Singapore assessing the situation. If they found the event interesting and successful, they might consider participating in the Singapore Pavilion in 2027.

For now, it’s too early to say much until the event is over. After that, they will have a meeting with the exhibitors to review the feedback. If they find it worthwhile and successful enough to return, or if it wasn’t as good as expected, they might consider making improvements.

Singapore has many leading international brands, and these brands are distributors for the brands participating in this event.

These distributors brought entertainment technologies to the event, including lighting systems, stage lighting control, auditorium lighting, and concert lighting. “There are sound systems like RCF, a large and renowned sound system for concerts and outdoor performances, on display at this event. There’s a wide variety of exhibits, and one of the largest markets is the audio-visual (AV) rental market. Especially when you organize a concert, you need to set up rental equipment, build a suitable stage structure, and have LED screens. This is all part of the AV rental sector.

I also serve as the acting president of the Asia Events and Equipment Federation. This federation comprises members from several countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines. We formed this federation through collaboration, and our members are mostly event organizers, event production companies, and AV rental providers. That’s another reason why we’re here, and we invited members to this event for a networking session on the final day.”

Mr. Jackson added, “We have the Prolight + Sound exhibition in Guangzhou, China. When it expanded to Thailand, we wanted to participate. We discussed this with our members, who were interested and had visited the exhibition in China and Germany. If they were interested, they could be part of the Singapore Pavilion. We then discussed this with the government.” Six Singaporean companies received grants from the government to help them participate in this specific trade show. That’s why Singaporean businesses are representing their country at the Singapore Pavilion. For this event, the technology and innovations Singapore is showcasing, particularly at Prolight + Sound, are highly specialized in live events and concerts – the entertainment line. Therefore, we focus exclusively on exhibitors who provide technology for live entertainment. At this event, you’ll see large-scale sound systems, lighting, and LED screens, which are vastly different from the perspective of companies not involved in live performance. The companies participating this year emphasize a loud and visually stunning (Loud) approach to sound, lighting, and LED technology – specifically suited for the entertainment industry. If you’re not in this field, you’re not at the right place. That’s why we invite visitors to stop by the Singapore Pavilion.
