Axalta Introduces Axalta Nimbus™, an Advanced Cloud-Based Platform for Refinish Customers, to Improve Productivity and Performance

 

 

 

 

Axalta, the world leader in automotive refinish, has launched “Axalta Irus Scan”, the latest Spectrophotometer, color measurement and color adjustment device, and “Axalta Nimbus” platform, which were launched at Automechanika, an international trade fair for the automotive industry, held from September 10 to 14, 2024 in Frankfurt, Germany. It is expected to be available for customers in the automotive industry in Thailand in early 2025.

 

 

 

 

“Axalta Irus Scan” is Axalta’s latest color measurement and color adjustment Spectrophotometer, an innovation developed by increasing the angle for reading pearl shades and enhancing the ability to read color effect flakes with a high-resolution RGB camera using Axalta’s proprietary algorithm. Axalta Irus Scan is also the first Spectrophotometer to measure gloss in itself, ensuring proper surface preparation and clear coat application.With this feature, color formula search and color adjustment with Axalta Irus Scan are more accurate, efficient and completely reliable. Through a fully digital management process, it is easy to use in just 3 steps: measure color values, select color formulas, mix colors, allowing car paint repairs to be done quickly, saving time and improving paint efficiency.
