
Bangkok Cable Joins Forces with HiTHIUM, a Global Leader in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) Advancing Thailand’s Infrastructure Transition to Sustainable Clean Energy Across Public and Private Sectors
Bangkok Cable (BCC) has partnered with HiTHIUM, one of the world’s top leaders in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). This collaboration merges high-quality electrical cables with advanced BESS solutions developed through rigorous R&D efforts. Together, the two companies aim to deliver comprehensive energy solutions that align with global trends, facilitating Thailand’s transition to sustainable clean energy. The partnership plans to bid on both public and private sector projects in Thailand across utility grid networks, commercial and industrial ventures, and residential developments. Additionally, they aim to secure regional opportunities through the ASEAN Power Grid initiative, while remaining open to partnerships that further elevate Thailand’s and the region’s infrastructure.
Mr. Pongsapak Nakornsri, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer of Bangkok Cable Co., Ltd., a leading manufacturer and developer of electrical wires and cables in Thailand, announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with HiTHIUM at the latter’s headquarters in Xiamen, China. HiTHIUM, a globally recognized leader in BESS, will work with Bangkok Cable to integrate their respective strengths in high-quality electrical cables and cutting-edge energy storage technologies. This partnership is designed to deliver comprehensive, innovative energy solutions that address Thailand’s growing energy needs.

The partnership plans to offer solutions and bid for projects in three main sectors:
- Public Utility Networks: Enhancing energy efficiency.
- Commercial and Industrial Projects: Expanding energy storage system installations and distribution.
- Residential Projects: Promoting access to clean energy and advanced energy storage technologies.
Additionally, the partnership will explore opportunities to participate in regional infrastructure projects, including the ASEAN Power Grid (APG) initiative, a transformative regional infrastructure project designed to bolster energy connectivity, support renewable energy development, and enhance energy security among ASEAN member countries. Furthermore, the partnership remains open to additional collaborations with like-minded partners to further strengthen Thailand’s and ASEAN’s energy infrastructure.
