Mr. Panitan Kobkulsuwan, Director of Thaisakol Group Co., Ltd., said, Thaisakol Group Co., Ltd. is an importer of production technology of 2 types: Subtractive Manufacturing and Additive Manufacturing. As an importer of cutting tools and machinery, it is therefore necessary for the company to find products that meet the needs of the current industry as much as possible. For the past INTERMACH 2024, technology being Thaisakol’s highlight of the year was still in the Subtractive Manufacturing group. For this year’s cutting work, the company has circular saws for steel plate cutting and a laser pipe cutting machine that will increase productivity and quality for entrepreneurs. There is also technology in the Additive manufacturing or 3D Printer group, which covers materials including metals, plastics, composites, and woods. Thaisakol, Additive Manufacturing, also known as a 3D Printer, will help entrepreneurs in designing and producing parts that cannot be produced by using current methods. It can do more trial by error, dramatically helps reduce time and cost of new product development, meet the needs of industrial grade workpieces because the 3D Printer has a special ability to be Lightweight Design that makes the workpiece less weight, yet the parts are still as strong as before and can be used for a variety of purposes thoroughly covering works from rapid prototyping to mass productions. In addition, 3D printers can produce complex workpieces by one step printing from previously done by multiple steps and requiring reassembly.
