OR Ready to Push for the Use of Electric Vehicles for Travels and Transportations to Support Comprehensive Use of EV Vehicles

 

 

PTT Oil and Retail Business Public Company Limited revealed that from the current trend on the use of energy in the travels and transportations, the electric vehicles (EVs) have begun to get more attentions from consumers and that one of the OR’s missions is to create the Seamless Mobility with the aim to respond to the needs of consumers and businesses sector no matter what the type of power would be required for the travels including the aim for a seamless transition of energy use. OR has begun the readiness preparations for EV charging stations since the end of 2018 to test and learn about consumers’ behaviors and the infrastructure system to the extent of resulting in nowadays that there are a total number of 107 EV Station PluZ charging stations both in and out of PTT service stations with the aim to expand to 450 locations by 2022 and 7,000 locations by 2030. EV users can download EV Station PluZ applications for the convenience of locating EV Station PluZ charging stations, reserving access for the use of services, online payments and checking usage history in one App. In addition, in the near future, FIT Auto Service Centers will be able to provide EV repair services. In this respect, OR will cooperate with various auto companies to gradually make the launching for EV marketing in Thailand including the “FIT Auto Workshop Training Center” which has already been open to develop skills of personnel operating at FIT Auto Service Centers and link the services to the digital platform to create a better experience for consumers.

 

 

In this regard, OR believes that a striving to be a market leader in EV charging stations with EV Station PluZ covering travel routes across the country all along with being a leader in the Fast Fit business that provides EV services of FIT Auto, will be able to create a peace of mind in using EVs for consumers and driving the use of EVs to be widespread in Thailand. In addition to providing EV charging stations and the Auto Service Centers, OR is under the process of carrying on the other additional services to support a better experience in using EVs such as EV chargers for installing in the residences under Ultra EV brand including cooperating with partners being EV companies, both cars and motorcycles in developing a form of EV rental services for transportation fleets. OR is also seeking the investment opportunities related to the Mobility that will comprehensively fulfill the usage experiences of both the consumers and business sector in order to facilitate the seamless transition on the use of the energy from oil to electricity and offer services that responds to the needs of EV users as much as possible.
