บีโอไอ อนุมัติส่งเสริมลงทุนบริษัท ซันโวด้า ออโตโมทีฟ เอนเนอร์จี เทคโนโลยี ผู้ผลิตแบตเตอรี่ Top 10 ของโลก ตั้งโรงงานผลิตแบตเตอรี่ต้นน้ำระดับเซลล์ขนาดใหญ่ครั้งแรกของประเทศไทย ด้วยเงินลงทุนกว่า 50,000 ล้านบาท เตรียมผุดโรงงาน 2 แห่งที่จังหวัดชลบุรี ดึงหัวใจเทคโนโลยีแบตเตอรี่ปักหลักในไทย เติมเต็มซัพพลายเชนยานยนต์ไฟฟ้าและอุตสาหกรรมพลังงานสะอาดไทยให้แข็งแกร่งที่สุดในภูมิภาค นายนฤตม์ เทอดสถีรศักดิ์ เลขาธิการคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมการลงทุน (บีโอไอ) เปิดเผยว่า ในการประชุมคณะกรรมการนโยบายเพิ่มขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันของประเทศสำหรับอุตสาหกรรมเป้าหมาย ที่มีนายพิชัย ชุณหวชิร รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการคลัง เป็นประธาน เมื่อวันที่ 13 มีนาคม 2568 ได้อนุมัติให้การส่งเสริมลงทุนแก่บริษัท ซันโวด้า ออโตโมทีฟ เอนเนอร์จี เทคโนโลยี (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด ผู้ผลิตแบตเตอรี่ระดับเซลล์สำหรับยานยนต์ไฟฟ้าและระบบกักเก็บพลังงาน Top 10 ของโลกจากประเทศจีน ซึ่งจะเป็นฐานการผลิตแบตเตอรี่เซลล์นอกประเทศจีนที่มีขนาดใหญ่ที่สุดของกลุ่ม Sunwoda ด้วยมูลค่าเงินลงทุนกว่า 50,000 ล้านบาท โดยจะตั้งโรงงาน 2 แห่ง ที่จังหวัดชลบุรี และจะจ้างงานบุคลากรไทยรวมกว่า 4,000 คน ในจำนวนนี้เป็นวิศวกรและนักวิจัยไทยกว่า 900 คน คาดว่าจะสามารถเปิดสายการผลิตได้ภายในปีนี้ นอกจากนี้ บริษัทอยู่ระหว่างการพิจารณาดำเนินธุรกิจรีไซเคิลแบตเตอรี่ในประเทศไทย เพื่อเติมเต็มห่วงโซ่อุปทานของการใช้รถยนต์ EV และรองรับการจัดการแบตเตอรี่ที่เสื่อมสภาพของผู้ใช้รถยนต์ EV ในอนาคตอีกด้วย บริษัท ซันโวด้า ออโตโมทีฟ เอนเนอร์จี เทคโนโลยี (ประเทศไทย)...
